Christian Science

Christian Science is both a Christian denomination and a system of healing disease and sin, including physical, relationship and financial problems.

Some of the main teachings of Christian Science include:
  • God is good, all-powerful and always present
  • We are God's children, loved by God and made in His image
  • Christ Jesus, as the Son of God, gave us the example of how we should live
  • Each one of us can experience salvation and healing right here and now as we apply the laws of God set out in the Bible

Holy Bible Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy Christian Scientists study the Holy Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy (1821-1910). Science and Health helps to unlock the inspired, spiritual message of the Bible and its practicality for healing and daily living. You can buy or borrow a copy of the Bible or Science and Health from our Reading Room or read the books online by clicking the images to the left.

You can also buy them at the UK .Online Christian Science Reading Room Holy Bible | Science and Health.

Mary Baker Eddy established the Christian Science Church in order to "reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing." This Church consists of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts (The Mother Church) and branch churches and societies around the world.
